Managed Platform

Care for a system after it ships.

When I build something, the Managed Platform is how it stays looked after once it's live — hosting, updates, and a standing line to me for small changes. It is optional. What I built is yours either way.

§ I

What's included

The plan keeps a system I built healthy and current without the team that uses it having to manage the parts under the hood.

  • Hosting and the domain kept running and renewed.
  • Security and dependency updates applied as they're needed.
  • Small changes — a copy edit, a new page, a swapped image, a fixed link — handled as part of the plan.
  • A check that the site is up, and a fix when it isn't.
  • One person who already knows the system answering when something needs attention.
§ II

What it doesn't cover

A new feature, a redesign, or a second system is its own project — scoped and quoted on its own. The plan covers keeping what exists in good order, not building what doesn't exist yet. When a request crosses that line, I'll say so and we price it separately before any work starts.

§ III

How it works

Billed monthly. I read every request and reply within two business days, usually sooner.

You can stop any time — it's a conversation, not a cancellation form. If you leave, we plan the handoff together: where the site lives, how to keep it running, and what you'll need to carry it without me. Nothing you paid to have built goes away.
